Amplify, a technology, search marketing and research company is looking for a PHP Web Developer/ Programmer to join a fun loving and fast growing digital agency. We craft custom web development projects and content managed web sites for a wide range of clients both nationally and overseas. We are fanatical about web standards and web development best practices and are looking for someone to share our passion.
Mandatory skills required:
• 3+ years commercial development experience
• Strong track record in PHP development
• Excellent English language skills
Bonus skills:
• Familiarity with (or a willingness to learn) the symfony PHP Framework (or similar such as Cake or Zend) and working knowledge of PEAR
• An understanding of web services and associated technologies
• Some experience with source control (CVS, SVN)
• Experience with MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML/CSS and W3C compliant web development/design
• Web design skills and experience with design software such as Photoshop
Other Requirements
• Highly motivated, efficient and well organised
• You must work well in a team environment but also be able to work independently
• An ability to work within project deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident
